Athletics Counselor (PAID Internship Available)

Camp Winnebago, a traditional boys summer camp in Maine, is hiring Athletics Counselors to help lead and coach campers ages 8–15 in a variety of sports, including:

Soccer

Basketball

Baseball

Hockey

Football

Lacrosse

And other classic camp athletics

If you love sports, energy, and working with kids, this is an unforgettable summer leadership opportunity.

What You’ll Do

Coach and instruct campers in your primary sport(s)

Help run drills, practices, and games

Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and skill development

Assist with refereeing and game management

Serve as a mentor and positive role model for campers

You’ll be part of a larger athletic staff working together to create a fun, competitive, and supportive sports environment.

Who This Is Great For

College athletes or former high school athletes

Students interested in coaching, sports management, PE, or education

Anyone who enjoys working with kids and being active all day

(Previous coaching experience is a plus, but not required.)
