Uber AI Solutions is Uber’s marketplace connecting freelancers with leading Generative AI researchers. We’re inviting senior-level Insurance and Finance professionals to contribute to a client-led Generative AI initiative focused on professional services and policy evaluation.

This is a freelance, paid, project-based opportunity that is flexible and remote. It is designed for experts who want to apply their deep industry knowledge to help shape how AI supports the insurance and finance industries.

Project Overview

Join a high-priority initiative focused on the rigorous testing of next-generation AI model performance. We are looking for specialists to ensure that AI outputs are not only linguistically flawless but also factually sound, culturally nuanced, and safe for global deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conversational Performance: Evaluate natural language interactions against quality gates to ensure fluid, human-like dialogue.
• Model Response Evaluation: Audit AI responses for strict alignment with internal safety, utility, and tone standards.
• Visual Interpretation: Test the model’s ability to accurately identify and interpret visual/image-based inputs.
• Factuality & Verification: Conduct deep-dive audits of text and image claims, cross-referencing information against reputable sources to eliminate hallucinations.

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s Degree highly preferred (Linguistics, STEM, Finance, Journalism, Data Science, or related).
• Language Proficiency: * English: High-level (C2) or Native proficiency.
  • Secondary Language: Native/Professional fluency in one of the following: German.
• Analytical Mindset: Ability to break down complex responses for "helpfulness" and "accuracy."
• Availability: Must be able to respond to tasks and join syncs during US Central Standard Time (CST) business hours.
