Data Clerk Telephone Operator

Derrick's Barbershop Corporation is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Data Clerk & Telephone Operator to support our remote administrative and customer communication operations. This role combines accurate data entry with professional phone support, ensuring smooth day-to-day business coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter, update, and maintain customer and business records
  • Answer incoming calls and route inquiries appropriately
  • Provide courteous and professional assistance to callers
  • Schedule appointments and update booking systems
  • Maintain organized digital records and files
  • Assist management with administrative and reporting tasks
  • Ensure confidentiality of customer information

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous data entry, receptionist, or call handling experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Clear verbal communication and professional phone etiquette
  • Basic computer proficiency (data entry systems, email, scheduling tools)
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Reliable internet connection and quiet workspace
