Sensory Evaluator (Quality Control)

This role is based in Dayton, NJ (onsite). You will be part of a creative, quality‑driven, and collaborative team where your expertise will directly support product excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction. Your potential is our inspiration.

Where You’ll Make a Difference

Evaluate products using defined sensory methodologies and determine product acceptability

Design, prepare, and manage structured, customer‑specific sensory programs

Communicate sensory results and insights in close collaboration with the Creative team

Support Quality and Creative groups through research initiatives and process improvements

Maintain sensory retains and Gold Standard libraries

Conduct sensory evaluation of raw materials, intermediates, and finished flavors

Perform analytical testing as required to support sensory findings

Partner with customers on shelf‑life evaluations and re‑certification activities

Provide technical sensory support to internal and external stakeholders

What Makes You the Right Fit

Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Food Science, or a related field

Experience in the food industry with exposure to sensory science or evaluation

Knowledge of sensory methodologies and best practices

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Solid foundation in math and scientific principles

Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools

Additional experience in sensory evaluation roles within the food industry

Hands‑on experience evaluating raw materials and finished flavor applications

Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems
