About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee electrical construction projects within affordable housing developments. This role is responsible for managing projects from pre-construction through completion, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
• Project Lifecycle Management: Manage electrical construction projects for affordable housing developments from start to finish.
• Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, field teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Planning & Budgeting: Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts. Oversee estimating, procurement, and overall project financial performance.
• Quality & Compliance: Ensure full compliance with electrical codes, design specifications, and safety standards.
• Site Supervision: Conduct regular jobsite visits to monitor progress, quality, and resource allocation.
• Documentation: Manage all project documentation, change orders, and reporting requirements.
• Relationship Management: Maintain strong client relationships and support business growth initiatives.
Required Qualifications
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in electrical construction, contracting, or engineering, specifically within affordable housing developments.
• Estimating: 5+ years of dedicated electrical estimating experience.
• Leadership: Proven background in project management, budgeting, and financial oversight with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and team management abilities.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with project management and construction software tools.
Preferred Qualifications
• Deep experience in multifamily residential or affordable housing developments.
• Strong working knowledge of electrical design, installation, and current code compliance.
• A proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
