Position Overview: As a Sales Engineer at SIMTEC Silicone Parts, you will be at the forefront of our business growth, driving the acquisition and retention of key customers across the automotive, medical device, and consumer product industries. This role combines your technical acumen with your sales expertise to identify and develop new business opportunities, as well as maintain strong relationships with existing clients. You will play a critical role in expanding our market presence, both domestically and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify, analyze, and pursue new business opportunities. Develop and execute strategic sales plans targeting the automotive, medical device, and consumer product industries.
  • Lead Generation & Nurturing: Initiate contact with potential clients and maintain ongoing relationships through strategic follow-ups and CRM management.
  • Relationship Management: Serve as the primary liaison between clients and SIMTEC’s engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams. Build and sustain long-term relationships with customers.
  • Corporate & Social Responsibility: Ensure adherence to company policies and legal guidelines, maintaining trust with stakeholders, partners, and authorities.
  • Project Management: Lead and contribute to special projects as assigned, including participation in RICO Group initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within the plastics or rubber industry.
  • Basic engineering skills with a strong understanding of manufacturing technologies.
  • Experience working with international clients and negotiating commercial terms.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or mechanical engineering.
  • Fluent in English, with proficiency in German or Spanish being a strong asset.

Preferred Skills & Competencies:

  • Deep knowledge of the LSR injection molding market in North America.
  • Familiarity with medical devices or automotive parts manufacturing.
  • Experience with LSR/LSR-multi-shot injection molding technology.
