Payroll Administrator
Position Title: Payroll Administrator
Organizational Leadership: Reports to Senior Payroll Specialist and Director of Finance
Schedule: Monday - Friday, on-site 5 days per week during regular business hours
Summary:
The Payroll Administrator will work closely with the Senior Payroll Specialist to ensure the timely and accurate completion of all payroll tasks in compliance with company policies. We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with strong organizational and communication skills, who understands the importance of handling sensitive information with discretion. This role also involves collaborating with the HR Department to manage payroll changes and providing support for daily payroll operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensuring accuracy and timely submission of timesheets
- Assist with maintaining and review of payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions
- Ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates
- Ensuring accuracy of employee PTO and attendance reports
- Answer employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits
- Assist with administering travel associate agreements and expenses
- Provide backup support Office Manager with travel and expense approvals
- Provide backup support to Senior Payroll Specialist with payroll processing when needed
- Perform other duties as assigned

Education and Training:
Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred.
Knowledge and Experience:
- 2+ years experience in accounting/payroll (prefer experience working for a General Contractor).
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office based applications.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Experience with CMiC a plus.
