Job Summary
The Specialist I, Billing role manages relationships with account executives, customer service managers, agency recruiters, and facility representatives to acquire missing time cards and set facility expectations and requirements related to the processing of traveler time cards. Reviews and approves time cards and expense reports including time card & travel expense data entry, billing, payment application, and reconciliation.
This is a Temporary Contract role with an expected end date of 2/28/25.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for entering timecards for clients while understanding and comprehending each client's detailed billing needs.
- Builds strong, trusting, and professional relationships with Healthcare Administrators and Vendors nationwide. Resolves disputes from customers in a timely and courteous fashion. Uses Microsoft Excel to research and respond to inquiries and issues.
- Approves Interim Leader expense reports, ensuring job codes and expense types are accurate while resolving billable and non-billable expenses and ensuring compliance with policies related to expense reimbursement.
- Performs monthly reconciliations between the 3rd party billing platforms and the internal accounting software to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial data reporting.

Qualifications
Education & Years of Experience
- High School Diploma/GED plus 5-7 years of work experience
Additional Experience
- Accounts Receivable, billing, customer service or other relevant office experience
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
- Work is performed in an office/home office environment.
- Team Members must have the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.

Pay Rate
$21.00 - $24.75 Hourly
Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
