Physical Education Teacher - Papillion La Vista South High School 2025-26 School Year

Description:  Physical Education provides an opportunity for students to understand that success in life is enhanced by physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle.  Positive personal outcomes are more likely when students have a foundation of knowledge about balanced diets, exercise and recreational choices.

Qualifications: Nebraska Department of Education Teacher Certification Required, with Physical Education Endorsement preferred.

Salary: The school district pays based on a Negotiated Pay Scale determined by degree and years of experience.

Benefits: PLCS pays 100% of the healthcare premium for employee only PPO insurance plans and all high deductible plans. PLCS pays 93% of the premium for all other PPO plans. Through the Nebraska School Employees Retirement System 9.78% of the gross salary is deposited into a retirement account. The District matches the contribution at the rate of 101%.
